I still remember the first time I sat down in front of a computer as a child. It was a simple drawing tool, but to me, it felt like a doorway to a world I’d never seen before. That moment made me realize technology could change lives. Now, I want to give other children that same opportunity.

Long Dong Elementary School, in one of the most remote areas of Lang Son, Vietnam, had only one teacher who brought his laptop to class. The children would line up and take turns using the only computer. I reached out to the Trade Union of Information and Education of Vietnam, and together, we connected with the school principal to make a difference.

After months of planning, We transformed an empty storage room into a computer lab with 5 PC computers and a small library with almost 100 books. The students' joy when they first stepped into the room was unforgettable.

I believe access to technology can change lives—just as it changed mine.
